Cape Fear Memorial Bridge is a vertical-lift steel structure spanning the Cape Fear River just south of downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Seen with the Riverwalk in the foreground.

Heather is a fine artist and photographer, who loves the challenge of painting as realistically as she can. Her favorite subjects are birds and flowers, but she also enjoys painting just about anything and everything in nature. After almost 30 years working in various graphic design, web design, marketing, and sales groups for large and small corporations, Heather decided it was time to get out of the rat race and focus on what she really loves: creating art in many forms and media. She has a degree in Industrial Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh but has been drawing and painting since she was a child.
