Original is 16x20. Wood ducks are such colorful creatures. I was able to snap up the reference shot for this painting at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana. I highly recommend visiting this small but wonderful zoo. It is one of my favorites.

Her favorite subjects are birds and flowers, but she also enjoys painting just about anything and everything in nature. After almost 30 years working in various graphic design, web design, marketing, and sales groups for large and small corporations, Heather decided it was time to get out of the rat race and focus on what she really loves: creating art in many forms and media.
